Is it a snack? Is it a meal? Is it going to rot your teeth? Yes, yes, and yes! Let’s make a Megafluffernutter!
Supplies: Megafluffernutter
- 2 slices of bread
- butter/plant substitute
- nut butter of your choice
- nutella/chocolate spread
- marshmallow fluff, mini marshmallows
- banana or strawberry (sliced)
- graham cracker or digestive biscuit
Instructions
Take your slices of bread and pop them on a lined baking sheet.

Butter the underneath sides of the bread.

On one slice of bread, put a schmear of nut butter. On top of the nut butter, put a schmear of nutella.
On the other slice of bread, put a schmear of marshmallow fluff. On top of the marshmallow fluff, sprinkle mini marshmallows (measure with your heart).
Put the baking sheet into the oven, I did it for 5 minutes at 180C. (I felt that, although the marshmallows were lovely and golden, the bread wasn’t particularly toasted underneath, so suggest either a longer time in the oven, or pre-toast the bread.)

Once out the oven, pop sliced fruit onto the nut butter/chocolate side. You can also sprinkle some graham cracker or digestive biscuit on top of the fruit.
Flip the marshmallow side onto the fruit side.

Slice and enjoy!
I used cutlery to eat my megafluffernutter, it was such a gooey delicious mess! Coffee or tea to cut through the sweetness will be necessary. Lyanna enjoyed the extra slices of banana afterwards.
