Legend says that Persephone ate six pomegranate seeds tying her to six months of the year in the underworld, however this tasty punch can be made year round. It’s a deliciously flavorful treat, and can be made with or without a splash of sparkling wine – I like a nice Cava, but it’s up to you!

4 bottles of juice as listed in the ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 part pomegranate juice
  • 1 part orange juice
  • 1 part ginger ale
  • Fresh rosemary to garnish
  • Bubbly wine (optional)

Persephone’s Pomegranate Punch Instructions:

Step 1 – Mix the pomegranate juice and orange juice together in a glass in equal parts. If you want to get REALLY fancy, you can shake in a mixer with ice!

Pouring ginger ale into a glass that is half filled with mixed juices; mixed juices are a dark red color

Step 2 – Add the ginger ale.

Step 3 – Optional – top off the glass with your favorite bubbly!

Full glass of juice and ginger ale mix with a sprig of fresh green rosemary sticking out of the center

Step 4 – Place a spring of rosemary for garnish.

Feel free to share your own twist on the punch! I’d love to see how you make it your own!
