Campus Party Brasil #CPBR11 will have a special schedule dedicated to eSports

Campus Party’s Gamer Academy will hold debates as well as promoting electronic games championships
Campus Party will have another novelty in its national (Brazilian) edition of 2018: the Gamer Academy. Through practical and didactic contents about the eSport world, the space will hold conferences and debates with professional players, team leaders, narrators, entrepreneurs, commentators, personalities and much more, the main purpose of which is to clarify questions that go from how to become a professional gamer to how to render an event commercially feasible.

 
Among the already confirmed attractions are Gabriel Fallen, who was named in 2015 the most influent player of Brazilian eSport; the chat with  Leonardo and Guilherme, from Team One, about how it is to own an  eSports team; the conference with  Yuri “Fly”, from Gamers Club, about the process and the main stages to become a professional player; the participation of  Bruno Clash, one of the most influent Clash Royale players, who will tell his worldwide experience with the game, and Marcio Soares, General Director of Rainbow Six Championship.
 
  
Gamer Academy will count further on a second space called “Gamer Arena”, located in the Open Campus, which is the free area of the vent. This space will be aimed at electronic games tournaments. The schedule will count with tournaments of Tekken 7, Counter Strike, Mortal Kombat, Rainbow Six, Gwent (cad game of the game and universe of The Witcher) and many others, in addition of a contest of narration of eSport games and a round table chat with players.

Data from the eSports market in Brazil: 

– Growth of eSports in Brazil from 2016 through 2017 = 250%;
– Position of Brazil in terms of watched hours of eSports: 3rd place;
– Average salary of a first line player: R$ 3,.000 to R$ 40,000/mo. Salary of an average or starting player:  R$ 2,000;
– Stadiums with up to 10 k people – tickets are sold out within the maximum of 3 hours;
– Worldwide position in the ranking of the Counter Strike game: 1st place – with SK Gaming;
-Worldwide position in the ranking of theRainbow Six game: 2nd place – with Black Dragons.
