IGGPPCamp 2016: Iggle Yoga Challenge Day 1

Step right this way for a fantastic fitness challenge that will get your body moving and your creativity flowing! Over the next five days, I’m going to bring you a daily yoga challenge. I’m really excited about this, so let’s dive in!

How the challenge works:

There are two parts to this challenge: every day I will post a challenge yoga pose and location. It is your task to go out into the world and do this pose in that location. You are encouraged to take a picture (or most likely, have someone else take a picture for you) of yourself doing the pose in this location and to share it to social media! Can’t go outside because of weather or season? Get creative with the challenge and find a different way to complete it! We have a special hashtag for this challenge: #yogigglechallenge and always be sure to use #IGGPPCamp!

Don’t know the pose? It’s okay, scroll down and watch the instructional youtube video I found for you!

So here’s your challenge for Day 1!

Pose: Tree Pose

Location: In a park!

Today’s pose is the Tree Pose, and the location is in a park outdoors! (Optional, or if you don’t have access to a park, you can pose by a tree!)

My husband even joined in for this one!

That’s the challenge for day one! If you need some instruction on the tree pose, or if you want to make sure you’re doing it right, check out this awesome video!

Want to do a bit more yoga today or looking for a bonus challenge? Check out this 30 minute yoga flow for balance that incorporates this pose as well as others. It’s a little bit more advanced, but it’s a pretty fun flow and you’ll work up a sweat!

See you tomorrow, campers!
