Are you interested in signing up to get a pen pal? You’re in luck! Getting nerds together is why we started IGGPPC! Pen pal registration rounds run every month.
Here’s how it works!
Step 1: Fill out the form when the round is open.
Check out the ‘Register For A Pen Pal’ page! When there is a round open the form for you to fill in will be on this page! Struggling with what to put as your Top 5 Geek Loves? Maybe these tips will help!
Step 2: Check your email when the round is closed.
Check your email for a message, subject, “You’ve been paired!” Match up emails go out between the 1st-12th of the following month, so if you sign up in a September round, you’ll get your match at the beginning of October! If you add info@geekgirlpenpals.com to your safe list, you can be sure to receive all emails from us.
Step 3: Make the connection.
You’ve found your International Geek Soul Mate!! Once you get that beloved email from us, it’s up to you to make your connection. We email pairs together, so all you have to do is hit “Reply All” to the email we send you and delete our email address!
We match pals together based on at least one matching or similar geek love, so to start you guys could talk about what you listed as your geek loves? Or maybe you can talk about where you’re from? Or perhaps you can get right into the nitty gritty of it and exchange your addresses! Check out these tips on making a good connection with your new pal!
What if my Pen Pal doesn’t respond?
If for any reason your new pal does not respond, you can go off into the wilderness and try to snag a pen pal via our Pen Pals forum. If that doesn’t work, sign up again the next month. Unfortunately there is no way for us to control someone’s willingness to follow through when they sign up.
