Neither of these are my favorite musicals but I sing Cool Rider from Grease 2 and Springtime For Hitler & Germany from The Producers more than one would suppose.

Oooh this is a tough one. My favorite MUSICAL is Singing in the Rain, but my favorite single SONG from a musical…..eesh I can’t pick. But I’ll admit that I find myself singing “Oklahoma” from the musical of the same name like, a lot. And I’ve only been there once! Ooh no wait, Make ‘Em Laugh from Singing in the Rain!

I have to choose ONE? Hmm. I don’t know that it’s necessarily my favorite, but I keep getting it stuck in my head: The Sexy Getting Ready Song from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Here’s how we’re taking part in or supporting LGBTQIA+ initiatives in our local areas!
- The company I work at does a lot of Pride awareness and such. They handed out little rainbow ribbons to pin on your cubicle or wear; it’s neat to see little hints of Pride scattered around the building!
- I may attend [the local] festival this year, but, even if I can’t make it, I donate to local orgs that provide resources to the LGBT community here.
- Someone shared a thing on Facebook about wearing “Free Mom Hugs” shirts to a pride parade, and I think that’s an awesome idea. I don’t know that I’ll make it out this year, but hopefully next year I can!
- [My city] has a great LGBT community and tons of Pride! I hope to get out and celebrate with my friends and family.
- I represented my organization at our Pride booth on the 1st! 🙂
- I love our local Pride parade but it’s in July and this year I’m out of town for it. I plan to find an initiative in June that I can support though, and am particularly passionate about programs for youth.
