Here’s how we’re taking part in or supporting LGBTQIA+ initiatives in our local areas!

  • The company I work at does a lot of Pride awareness and such. They handed out little rainbow ribbons to pin on your cubicle or wear; it’s neat to see little hints of Pride scattered around the building!
  • I may attend [the local] festival this year, but, even if I can’t make it, I donate to local orgs that provide resources to the LGBT community here.
  • Someone shared a thing on Facebook about wearing “Free Mom Hugs” shirts to a pride parade, and I think that’s an awesome idea. I don’t know that I’ll make it out this year, but hopefully next year I can!
  • [My city] has a great LGBT community and tons of Pride! I hope to get out and celebrate with my friends and family.
  • I represented my organization at our Pride booth on the 1st! 🙂
  • I love our local Pride parade but it’s in July and this year I’m out of town for it. I plan to find an initiative in June that I can support though, and am particularly passionate about programs for youth.

We want to wish a happy pride to all our LGBTQIA+ Iggles!
