These adorable jellyfish are simple to make using items you may already have around the house. If you want to make more than one, you can be swimming in the sea with all the jellyfish, just be careful not to get stung! This activity could be done on your own time or we could do it together during a watch-along!

SUPPLIES
- 1 cupcake liner (or 1 coffee filter)
- 1 pack of tissue paper (or ribbons/scrap yarn, several items could be substituted with items around the house)
scissors
- 1 glue or 1 tape (any type of adhesive will work)
- ~6-12+ inch string -depends how low you want the jellyfish to swim (could be yarn, twine, anything you can find)
- 1 set of googly eyes/eye stickers/black marker to draw on the eyes.
- Optional: paint, watercolors, markers, GLITTER, or any utensils you wish to decorate the cupcake linernote: you could also use coffee filters for bigger jellyfish, with this option, you could choose to paint them with watercolors (similar to a craft used last year) as a personalization option.
*Optional step before starting: color or paint the cupcake (head of jellyfish) in single color or varying colors, add glitter or accents with scraps of yarn – easily customizable. I am choosing this option as my cupcake liners on hand are mostly solid and because GLITTER!

INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut strips of tissue paper, ribbons, or whatever material you chose to use. The more colors, the merrier! You can cut them as the same length or varying lengths (some longed, some shorter- artist’s choice).
- Glue the strips of paper inside the cupcake liner- not on the walls, but on the bottom as this way the jellyfish umbrella will stand out more (and look cuter).
- Flip it over and glue the string on the bottom of the cupcake liner (or on top of the umbrella). You could also gently poke a hole in the top and feed the string through, then tie a knot on the inside (if glue or tape is unavailable).
- As a final touch, add some googly eyes (or some type of eyes) to give this sea creature personality!
- Any flourishes or personalization can be made (more glitter!) and you can hang these creatures for some beachy decorations!

Now just hang up your cute little jellyfish! Any room will fit right into the Beach Camp theme. I hope you had fun making these cupcake liner jellyfish and come up with some cool names for your new friends!
