Glam up your camp blanket fort with a homemade celestial wall hanging! This craft uses everyday materials to make a unique decoration featuring stars, moons and planets.

Supplies needed:

  • A clothes hanger or embroidery hoop
  • Colourful or patterned paper
  • Some card stock (perhaps something like a recycled cereal box!)
  • String or ribbon
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • A hole punch

Celestial Wall Hanging Craft Instructions:

Cut out some celestial shapes from your card, like stars, moons and planets. For each of your card shapes, cut out two matching pieces of pretty paper. Glue one on the front of the card and one on the back.

You might want to decorate your celestial shapes with washi tape or stickers!

Punch a hole at the top of each shape and attach a piece of string or ribbon. Alternatively, you could use an awl to make the holes.

Tie the string to your clothes hanger or embroidery hoop.

Voila, your wall hanging is complete and ready to display! Hang it up and enjoy looking at your very own night sky.
