Day 7 Challenge
Sometimes it is hard to stay motivated; it feels like there is so far to go our your own personal journey that there is no way you can make it. When these thoughts enter your mind it is great to have a role-model who gives you some inspiration, so let’s find a fitness spirit animal to guide us!
How to get your achievement
Share your spirit animal! Tweet, or post a link in the comments below, to the person who inspires you to your Activity Coordinator, @igglefitness or @themightyjerd (using #IggleFitnessChallenge)!
(In avoidance of cultural appropriation issues) I would like to submit Brooke Birmingham as my fitness super-awesome super hero!

She lost an amazing amount of weight through moderate and gradual diet and exercise changes and when confronted with the notion that her now super strong and healthy body was still not “fit to be seen” she basically gave them the biggest raspberry of all and reminded everyone why she could and should be proud of her accomplishments. She is confronting head on a topic that not a lot of people want to talk about when it comes to weight loss and is a great spokesperson for making health and fitness be about health and fitness and not unreasonable beauty expectations.
In short, she totally rules.
Sarah, thanks for respectfully acknowledging cultural appropriation in the use of the term “spirit animal”! I’ll be pinging you on Twitter shortly with your code 🙂
