We had a chance to take an exclusive look at Audible’s A Trick of Light experience on Thursday, July 18 at San Diego Comic Con. This year, Amazon brought the new Audible Original, Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light, to life with a series of immersive light and sound-driven experiences.

One of Stan Lee’s final collaborations, A Trick of Light was released on June 27, 2019 on Audible. It introduces a new connective universe with new superheroes in a tech-centric, connected world, much like our own.

During Comic Con, fans can experience parts of this new story through a series of immersive light and sound-driven experiences. This activation is a perfect entry into this new world allowing a glimpse of the full audiobook and the origin of one of the main characters.

A Trick Of Light is the first installment of what  is sure to be an engaging multi-story arc of superheroes in a digital world full of commenction, good and evil.

Attendees will have the opportunity to become co-pilots of this new universe through a series of reality-bending light and sound-driven experiences — including a matrix-like “light labyrinth” — representing key moments from Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light, including an introduction written and narrated by Lee. Fans meet Cameron Ackerson and trace his origin journey from ordinary teen to cyberkinetic superhero. Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light is open to the public in the Gaslamp Quarter from Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.
