The annual Her Universe Fashion show debuted in a new venue this year with more spectacle and more fans able to attend what has become one of San Diego Comic-Con’s signature events. The theme of the year was “Defying Fashion: Fashion That Defies Expectations” inspired by the oh-so popular Wicked and highly anticipated Wicked: For Good coming out later this year.

New for this year, fans waiting to enter the ballroom were transported to Oz along a yellow-brick-road featuring costumes from the film, props and photo ops, and a preview of all the merch that proves that pink goes good with green.

Once the show began, fans were treated to inspiring stories from the designers, creative and colorful couture, and a night of magic that can only happen at a place like Comic-Con.

This year’s winners were Caitlin Beards with her The Mummy (1999)-inspired look Couture of the Dead and Lynleigh Sato with her Trolls-inspired look, Poppy’s Hues of Happiness.

You can watch the entire show online now to see all the thrillifying fashion and relive the magic!
