The Pull List 14 September 2016

I love comics. They have the ability to transport you to new places, telling a story unlike anything you’ve experienced. Comics are a special form of media; pictures, words, it’s a beautiful thing. My goal is to introduce everyone to the world of comics and the power it holds. It’s a special place that not many people have visited. Let me recommend a few comics that I’m sure will hook you and have you never looking back.

Welcome to The Pull List.

From CBR:

“THE BLACK VAULT” part 2! What was meant to be a routine mission to retrieve a “cosmic item” from an undersea fortress has become a nightmare beyond anything the Suicide Squad ever expected. And with half the team down, it’s up to Harley Quinn, Katana, and a demon-possessed graphic designer named June Moore to save the Squad from the most dangerous man in the DC Universe. That’s right…they’re screwed.

He’s the only man with a lead on the nefarious new Oracle…but dead men tell no tales! Of course, it’s hard to make a team-up work when the team’s ready to tear itself apart on its first mission!

Bob’s Burgers Vol. 2 #15

From CBR:

Gene serves up a magnificent medieval tale in Issue 15 of the Bob’s Burgers Comic Book! A rogue dodgeball sends Gene back in time – to a land of kings, and knights, and a wizard who’s just “meh.” Gene discovers that his modern-day Casio keyboard is really quite “magical” in the 6th century, much to Merlin’s chagrin.

Faith #3

Mild-mannered blogger by day. L.A.’s leading superhero by night. Faith Herbert – aka the high-flying hero called Zephyr – has come a long way since she first set foot in the City of Angels. But nothing can prepare her for the pinnacle of all her experiences to date: California’s biggest comic book convention! But even amidst a sea of fellow fans, cosplayers, and collectibles, crime waits for no man! With thousands watching and even more at stake, can Faith prevent all-pandemonium – and preserve her secret identity – when the fun turns to frenzy?
