This past month, the Iggles’ Comic Book Alliance got together again to read a DC trade that we’d all seemed to have missed in our comic book ventures – The Death of Superman. The Death of Superman follows a multitude of issues of Superman that, well, lead to the death of Superman himself. It’s a staple in the DC Comics Universe and has been since it debuted in 1992. It’s the best selling graphic novel of all time but does it deserve that title? That’s what we’re here to discuss. As usual, you can check our our Goodreads group here to chat even more about it!

The Death of Superman review

Meghan, Summer  and I (Travis) sat down, collected our thoughts and discussed it in full detail during our live hangout. Check it out below and make sure to let us know your thoughts on Twitter at @igglecomics!

Next up: Lumberjanes, Vol. 1!

We’ve discussed this trade before, but this month we’ll be going even deeper and taking a broader look at Lumberjanes, Vol. 1: Friendship to the Max. I’m super excited to share this one with you all again during Camp. Join us (info below) and beware the Holy Kitten!

We’ll be reading Lumberjanes, Vol. 1 this month, so make sure to check out the Goodreads group here, follow us on Twitter, and tag us or use #IggleComics to discuss it even further. We’ll also be hosting a live video hangout to discuss the trade, so be on the lookout for a time and date. Also check our new forum thread here!
