There are so many games out there in the game world that deal with super heroes and super villains. Several immediately come to mind, but typically you’re playing the heroes stopping the super villains. There is an amazing game called Legendary: Villains, but the problem I ran into was it not having an online accessible format and it was a bit more on the expensive side if you wanted to buy it. In my attempt to meet online and real world players of the game, I opted another amazing co-operative game!
Real World & Online Tabletop Game – Sentinels of the Multiverse (2011)
You are a super hero who teams up with other super heroes to fight a super villain at a selected location. Work together using your special powers and stop the super villains from destroying the multiverse!
Sentinels of the Multiverse is a co-operative game, which means you work together with other players to achieve a goal. It’s all about team work people! Players select the super hero character they want and then they are given a set deck to work with for that character.
The villain is selected and then the location. Events unfold as you play and attempt to take down the villain. Luckily, there is an app for that! It helps you keep track of hit points and damage done. The Sentinels of the Multiverse Sidekick will help you when playing the game in the real world. Plug in your characters, villain, location, etc. and you’re set to go. Or it will randomize everything for you!
For those of you looking to play digitally, there are Android and Apple apps of the game for you to play. You can purchase the app through GooglePlay Store, iTunes, and Amazon. You can play this game anywhere! So what are you waiting for?
Friday, May 15 – Sunday, May 17 have been designated official game days so that iggles can be around to play with all the other iggles and look for players in their zone or their iggle-buddies around the world. Go to a local game shop, meet up online, play over Google+ Hangout, it’s all up to you!

You can also post in our forum or, essentially anywhere iggles post. For the online game, take a screencap or photo with your phone or camera and share it.
