Welcome to February’s Iggle Fitness challenge. This month we are working on making your body ready to survive (or enjoy) any anime you may wish to be a part of with anime inspired exercises. It will be hardcore and it will be worth it. Are you ready?!

OK good, lets go!


No matter what kind of anime you like, you know that for the most part the characters are all extremely fit and capable of extraordinary feats. You can be too!

We have two levels for the fitness challenge this month; we’d like you to choose a level and then stick to it all month.

Level One is to complete 2 sets of each day’s exercises.

Level Two is to complete 4 sets of each day’s exercises.

Day 1

  • 20 Punches
  • 20 Squats
  • 20 Air Bike Crunches

Day 2

  • 20 Upward Elbow Cuts (Uppercuts)
  • 40 High Knees
  • 15 Jumping Jacks

Day 3

  • 20 Raised Arm Circles
  • 20 Mountain Climbers
  • 15 Heel Click Jumps

Day 4

  • 15 Chest Squeezes
  • 20 Push Ups
  • 20 Burpees

Day 5

  • 40 Low Turning Kicks
  • 20 Palm Strikes
  • 1 Minute Run On The Spot

Day 6 

  • 15 Raised Leg Circles
  • 15 Punch Sit Ups
  • 20 Lunges

Day 7 

  • 20 Overhead Punches
  • 15 Inchworms
  • 20 Back Kicks

Repeat the day’s exercises each week.

We will also be doing daily spot challenges on Twitter (which I will ensure hit the forum too) which will vary from quizzes to extra exercises, to eating your 5 (fruits and veggies!) a day. We would love to see as many people as possible joining in!
