Hello, everyday cosplayers! Are you excited to see Avengers: Age of Ultron this weekend? Did you head to the theater to catch it on opening night? There are a ton of great ways to geek up your movie-going apparel or to just rock your Avengers love! Here are a few of my favorites.
We’re starting with this racerback tunic tank from Hot Topic. Not only is this one of my favorite styles, but it features classic comic book art AND all six characters from the team in one shot. As you probably have noticed, it’s hard to find Natasha/Black Widow on anything and it has even led to a trending topic on Twitter, #WheresNatasha. I have found her here, along with a few other places including the new Her Universe Avengers line, also at Hot Topic.
The next piece I’ve got for you is a pair of combat pants from Black Milk Clothing. These aren’t Avengers-specific, but doesn’t the pattern make you think of Thor’s lightning? The heart of everyday cosplay is, after all, finding pieces you might add to your daily wear wardrobe, and this is certainly a fun piece to have! Who wouldn’t want the boost of a little lightning power in their life?
I have another top for you, because sometimes those are the best finds. This is We Love Fine’s I Am Black Widow tank, and it is certainly fine. I love the dark colors of this one, and the style looks super comfortable and flattering, which is a tough combination to achieve. There are several other options in the “I Am” collection, so be sure to check them all out.
It’s time to accessorize, and this piece is on point. See what I did there? Either way, etsy seller brightstrangethings has a lovely item in this purple Hawkeye bracelet. Hawkeye gets some major love in the latest Avengers installment and I think it’s appropriate to celebrate him with this gorgeous silk bracelet.
For those of you who want to incorporate your Avenger love into your beauty products, I have a line of nail lacquers from Celestial Cosmetics called Avenge the Earth. There are nine colors in this collection, but what’s featured above is my favorite: the bright Captain America blue, On Your Left.
Finally, if you want to represent the whole team, you can find this Avengers logo necklace from SuperHeroStuff. They have a Hydra version as well, if your loyalties lie elsewhere. Either way, you can sport your team pride with these in any outfit you choose.
Last, but not least, I have put together a full outfit based on none other than the Black Widow herself, Natasha Romanoff.
For this look, I’ve dressed things up a notch with Natasha’s signature sleek style, and included a red scarf reminiscent of her distinctive hair. The spider cuff is a fun nod to her super-nickname and the boots are practical but good for hard kicking.
What are you rocking this weekend? Any other awesome Avengers pieces I should know about? Let me know in the comments below!
