Owlcrate Review; January *Spoilers*

Whether you’re a long time Shakespeare lover, or a newly found fan of Austen, there’s a place in classic literature for each of us. For January, Owlcrate highlighted a modern twist on some of our beloved “Classics” with a trip down memory lane. Let’s see what’s inside!

Owlcrate is a bi-monthly subscription box, with different subscription options sure to suit different budgets. Prices range from $29.99 (USD, monthly payment plus shipping), to $167.94 (USD, six month subscription plus shipping). Created especially for bookworms, these boxes contain “bookish” goodies inspired by popular titles. Each box also includes a hardback novel to introduce readers to more recently published works.

From beautiful hardcover novels, to the smallest (and often times, sweetest!) of buttons, Owlcrate is the perfect gift for any bookworm. Their items are carefully picked and packaged together.

Each box comes with a “Spoiler” card, explaining the items featured in that months box. (Picture here is the front & back of said postcard!)

Also included every month is a custom button to match the month’s theme.

One of the more unique (and delicious!) items included in January’s box was a small sample package of tea inspired by The Little Prince, by First Edition Tea CoThe perfect pairing to go with a cozy afternoon of reading.

Another unique item included in January was this beautifully designed calendar by Obvious StateIt has literary quotes for each month!

The ever-so-talented Lexy Olivia exclusively designed this watercolor bookmark, featuring a quote from everyone’s beloved Slaughterhouse Five.

Also included was this gorgeous magnet, inspired by the haunting and beautiful The Phantom of the Opera, designed by Sweet Sequels.

Roseblood by A.G. Howard is a modern day retelling of The Phantom of the Opera that will give you goosebumps as you turn each page. (Included alongside this beautiful novel, is an autograph card signed by the author).
