Good day IGGPPC Campers! It’s going to be a hot day today so we’re going to make a cool drink with our friends – s’mores frappes! And since it is day 3 of camp and we’ve been staying up late with our bunk mates, we’ll throw some caffeine into our drinks too!

Supplies needed:

  • ice
  • coffee OR hot chocolate
  • whipping cream OR cool whip OR aerosol whipped cream
  • Marshmallow Fluff
  • chocolate sauce
  • graham crackers
  • sugar (or any sweetener you prefer)

The above supplies are for either a coffee-based or hot chocolate-based (not everyone likes coffee) frappe. Depending on your preference you can use whatever whipped cream you like. I picked whipped topping since it was easiest and lactose-free.

S’mores Frappe Recipe Directions:

Make your coffee or hot chocolate in advance so it has time to cool down. Sweeten your coffee how you like it, but don’t add any creamer/milk to your drink yet.

In a bowl, add a few heaping tablespoons of whipped topping and a couple of tablespoons of Marshmallow Fluff. This is all based on your preference. How much whipped cream do you want on top? How marshmallow-y do you want it to taste? I mixed them together and when I was happy with how blended they were, I added a heaped tablespoon to the bottom of my glasses.

Pour chocolate sauce over marshmallow cream in your cup.

Once your coffee is room temperature, add it to your blender with ice and crushed graham crackers. Blend to desired consistency and at this point you can add your creamer or milk if you want. I kept both of mine black since I figured the marshmallow cream would add a ‘creamer’ to my drink.

Pour blended coffee into your glass. Don’t the layers look fun?

Add more marshmallow cream to the top of your blended coffee. Drizzle on more chocolate sauce and add a graham cracker!

Ta da! The s’mores frappe is so easy to put together and so incredibly tasty. My favourite thing about this recipe is how easy it is to tweak it to your preference. You can make it sweeter or creamier or heavier on chocolate or cookies if you want. If you give these frappes a try, make sure to tag #iggppcamp on social media!
