Arts & Crafts

Time Vortex in a Bottle

  • 1 clear container with a lid (an empty drink bottle, a jar, a craft bottle, anything clear with a lid that you can easily seal and hold in your hands)
  • Water
  • 1 bottle of clear glue
  • Glitter (any color)
  • Beads, buttons, or small toys (optional)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Hot glue gun or super glue (optional)

Thread Art Shenanigans (with a dash of watercolours)

  • 16 st count Aida cloth, 9, 8×9,8 inches (25x25cm).
  • If you’re using another kind of aida cloth (14,18) your measurements will be different.
  • Embroidery floss or perle cotton in different colours
  • A blunt needle (the ones for cross stitch)
  • Scissors
  • Watercolours & brushes
  • A heat erasable pen, like the frixion ones (optional)
  • Small beads, sequins, ribbons, odd pieces of yarn or string, tiny buttons… (optional)
  • An 13 or 16 cm embroidery hoop to frame the finished project. Hoop can also be used to hold the project while you work

Camp Paint Along

  • Canvas (whatever size you prefer)
  • Brushes (various sizes or just one its up to you!)
  • Paint colors – Rainbow it! (While you can pick your shades your own try to have your basic colors- you can mix for other colors if needed!)

Making IGGPPCamp Cabin Bracelets and Badges

  • 1 skein of DMC Embroidery Floss of each:
    • WHITE
    • 3832 Raspberry Med
    • 959 Sea Green Med
    • 648 Beaver Gray Lt
  • Troop Design:
    • Vortex: 1 skein* of 553 Violet and 1 skein of BLACK;
    • 13: 1 skein* of 992 Aquamarine Lt and 1 skein of BLACK;
    • Memory: 1 skein* of WHITE and 1 skein of BLACK;
    • Time Travel: 1 skein of 946 Burnt Orange Med and 1 skein of BLACK.

* 1 skein will do the job, but depending on how long you wish the bracelet to be, 2 will cover it.

Paper Theater

  • 2 sheets of thick white paper (A4 sized)
  • cardboard or cardstock, 20 cm long, to cut thin strips into
  • glue or double-sided tape (or any equivalent, permanent or not)
  • scissors
  • cutter or scalpel
  • pencil
  • pens, markers or colored pencils
  • ruler
  • optional: a printer to print the template

Create Your Own IGGLE Scout Sash!
*Amount of supplies depends on the size of the wearer and how many badges they want on their sash. Since this activity is meant to be low-cost/free, iggles who want to pursue a fully sewn sash are welcome to follow their own pattern to join in. Please make sure to get the yardage needed for your body size. Iron-on patches and buttons are available on the IGGPPC store.

  • Something to go across your body and tie, like a scarf
    OR
    Recycled paper bags or something similar
  • Paper
  • Printer (optional)
  • Crayons, colored pencils, etc.
  • Glue, tape, or safety pins (suggested if you use a scarf, etc.)
  • Recycled cardboard boxes (to give paper badges structure)
  • Scissors

Trying Your Hand at Visible Mending

  • A piece of clothing with a minor rip or hole
  • scrap fabric (of a similar material) enough to cover the hole
  • one standard floss of embroidery (8 m) in a color that pairs nicely with your clothing
  • sewing pins
  • embroidery needle
  • scissors (preferably fabric scissors)

Secret Code Bracelets

  • Beads in at least two different colors or shapes. Examples: seed and tube beads or pony beads.
  • String, fishing line, or bracelet elastic to put the beads on.
  • Clasp (optional if you’re feeling fancy with your kind of beads. A knot works just fine otherwise!)”

Food & Drink

Time Lord Tini Cocktail (or Mocktail)

  • 1-2 fruit juices of choice (apple, grape, etc. I’ve been loving a natural beet and berry juice lately!)
  • Fizzies, if you like bubbles (soda or tonic water, your favorite flavored water thing, kombucha, champagne, Prosecco, whatever floats your boat!)
  • Spirit of choice, if not already using some bubbly (omit for the mock tail version or simply add in a splash of bitters/flavored simple syrup)
  • Fruit to garnish (sliced citrus, a few berries, whatever floats your boat!)

Pizza Clocks

  • Pizza base of your choice (pre-made pizza crust, tortilla, naan, whatever you like best)
  • Your favorite sauce
  • Melty cheese (mozzarella is most common, but use what you like best)
  • Assorted toppings (veggies, proteins, again whatever you like best. It’s helpful if you pick things you can cut into shapes)

Back to the Future 1955 Pineapple Jell-O in a Can

  • 1 No.2 can (about 20 oz) sliced pineapple
  • 1 box Jell-O gelatin dessert (or Simply Delish plant-based jel dessert)
    • Choose your flavor but lime is suggested

Orange Creamsicle Cookies

  • 1⁄2 cup Tang orange crystals or 1/2 cup other orange drink mix
  • 3⁄4 cup sugar
  • 1⁄2 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1⁄2 cups vanilla baking chips
