Halloween Horror Games

It’s time to get spooky! When it comes to October, Halloween is probably the most anticipated part. And what better way to celebrate than to play some spooky and scary horror tabletop games.

When it comes to a great horror game, it’s all based on the story of the game. When you get a great game master who can spin a nerve-wracking tale and you have to fight your way into a victory, it’s way better than a movie. Need some suggestions? Here are my top horror tabletop games.

Gloom

Gloom is a simple card game, where you have a family of four and your goal is to make your family as miserable as possible, and eventually kill them. However, the other players can make your family’s life better or kill them before you can get points from their misery.

Dread

Dread is a different way to play a RPG, but instead of rolling dice, you pull a block from the tower. If it falls, your character is dead. When you have an awesome game master, this game can get really nerve-wracking. The terror of a falling tower makes it worse, which makes it more fun.

Dead of Winter

Dead of Winter is a Co-Op game, with the possibility of a traitor to mix things up.  It also involves zombies coming to kill you. You’ll have to fight to complete missions to keep the community alive, keep up morale, and try not to die due to a zombie attack or frostbite. Will you survive the apocalypse?

Betrayal at House on the Hill

This house is full of horror, and you can collect artifacts and objects to help you beat the evil. However, when the evil is released, a player becomes that character so you are fighting someone who used to be your ally. The game has so many different evils that can be released that this game has so much replay ability.
