From fashion to home decor there are a ton of products out there to choose from to make your life a little bit cuter. If you’re like me though, you probably have a hard time finding just what you are looking for. Today we will be going off the beaten shopping path and taking a look at the new company Smoko, which has some of the more precious home decors I have ever laid eyes on! I will tell you all about my shopping experience with Smoko and give you a window into some of my favorite products from the company.
A Unicorn Named Elodie
The Smoko team has created a little character named Elodie. She is a cute chibi styled unicorn that has her own merchandise line. The Elodie line has everything from kitchen accessories to pairs of socks for you and your best friend. I ordered a ton of kitchen-themed merchandise from this line, and it was completely wonderful.
All the glass items from Smoko are made of high-quality materials, and they have done a great job of standing up to my cat. The Elodie items specifically are well crafted with little to no imperfections. My favorite item so far has been the Elodie Cookie Jar. It has a classic ceramic look to it, and when paired with the other items from the collection, it made my kitchen look completely magical.
Smoko has several bundled packages with this line that offer great savings. There newest bundle if a BFF bundle that features 2 necklaces, 2 mugs, 2 Pom-Poms, and 2 pairs of socks. When you buy the bundle you get a huge discount of 20 plus dollars off of the items and the shipping is super fast. On top of that, the team is always making new items in this line, including an Elodie beach towel I have my eye on!
Browsing The Smoko Store
The best thing about Smoko is the huge variety of products they are selling on their site. I first learned about this store thanks to their partnership with ThinkGeek where they created a small line of Angler Fish products. The site carries cute products on top of making there own and has a huge focus on desk and house products. They also run regular sales and are constantly in contact with their consumers through social media channels.
Smoko even has a subscription box where you can get a monthly dose of kawaii in your mailbox box. The subscription has two tiers so you pick the price point that is right for you! If that’s not good enough the Smoko sale section is a frugal shoppers dream come true. They are always adding items to this section and there are way too many little items I’d just love to buy, like this giant swan float. You can even find apparel hear and lots of mugs for your household. Honestly, the only thing I don’t like about this site is the fact that things sell out like the Blob fish line.
Overall, Smoko will help make your living space a lot cuter. The products are all top notch quality and incredibly unique fines. I don’t think I could be any happier with there shipping speeds, and the customer care I see every day on Facebook.

- When do you get most creative?
This is one of the questions I get asked the most. I get my best ideas when I’m driving. During my commute to and from work is the time I get some solitude in my car and instead of listening to music I start cooking up ideas in my head.
- Many people think success happens overnight, what was one struggle you had when making your brand?
Success definitely doesn’t happen overnight. We’ve been in the business for several years now and we’re still trying to create brand awareness and get the word out about our company and products. We have struggles familiar to any small business which include growing pains and the juggling act of having to wear many hats in the business. An unexpected struggle we had and still battle with are copyright infringements. We constantly see copycats pop up and they do directly hurt our business and we’ve seen it in decreased sales and concerns from our wholesale customers.
- How is it getting to partner with sites like ThinkGeek, it must be exciting to see your products sold by so many different retailers!
ThinkGeek was one of the first retailers to pick up our products. We feel so thankful and grateful that they supported us from the beginning and believed in what we do. It really is rewarding to see our products in retail stores around the world and to get to meet other businesses who share our vision.
- Do you remember your first sale?
We started off with one product, which was our toast hand warmers. Our first sale cleared out our first batch of inventory. It was exhilarating, to say the least!
- What is something you’d personally love to see happen with your brand?
Our priority is our customers and it’s most fulfilling when we get messages from our customers expressing how happy our products make them feel. We hope to continue growing thoughtfully through innovative and fun designs and we would love to continue partnering with like-minded brands.
