Flower Crowns

Troop Pom Pom Garlands

  • Bakers twine
  • Pom pom maker (I use the Clover ones, which I highly recommend, but i’ll show you how to make your own)
  • Sharp scissors
  • Darning needle
  • Optional: Large scissors or fabric shaver to neaten up pom poms

If making your own pom pom maker you’ll need:

  • Cardboard
  • Pencil
  • Compass or some thing to draw a circle with
  • Scissors or a pen knife

Card Making

1. Badge Card

  • 1x Coloured Card base in the colour of your choice (they are easy to make too)
  • white Paper a bit more than the size of your card (you should be able to draw on it with the supplies of your choice)
  • a punch in the geometric shape of your choice you should be able to put several punched out shapes on your card(I’ll be using a Hexagon punch, but you could go with circles, triangles…)
  • drawing tools you feel most comfortable with or if you don’t want to draw at all a printer and google will work too

2. Lovegood

  • Cardbase in dark blue
  • orange and green paper (we don’t need a large amount)
  • bronze gel pen or pen with similar coverage

3. Invictus

  • small to medium amounts of cardstock in different blues (if you don’t have that I will make some by mixing watercolours and painting cardstock)
  • white slightly transparent paper
  • small ammout of a coloured cardstock can have a pattern
  • a card base in white or blue preferably top folding

4. Chimera

  • card base preferably in an off white colour/ beige or similar
  • thin paper
  • coffee or black tea (the thin paper has to soak int this)
  • small – medium amount of brown yardstick
  • light natural coloured gel pen or other painting tool with similar coverage like acrylic paint

Jell-O Jar Aquariums

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring Cup
  • Large Spoon
  • Water
  • Something to Boil Water with
  • Wide-Mouthed Jar (or clear plastic cup… smaller is better and you’ll make more than one)
  • Blue Jell-O mix
  • Gummy sea creatures (Swedish Fish, Gummy Octopuses, Sharks, or other aquatic animals)
  • Something to break the surface of the Jell-O/Gelatin
  • Whipped Cream (optional)

Homemade Bath Bombs

  • 2 oz. baking soda
  • 1 oz. corn starch
  • 1 oz. citric acid
  • 1 oz. Epsom salt
  • 1/2 – 1 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Decorations – dried flowers, sprinkles, glitter, get creative!

You’ll also need some supplies from around your kitchen

  • Large bowl
  • Small bowl
  • Kitchen scale
  • Measuring spoons
  • Whisk
  • Bath bomb mold (Or go rogue and use a muffin tin, ice cube tray, etc.)

  • 1 glass bottle of your chosen size (with spray top for convenience)
  • Pinch of salt

  • Essential oils of your choosing (I use mainly tea tree with a lavender back up)
  • Aloe Vera gel (optional extra)
